EVENTS
To enrich the interdisciplinary dialogues among the Diaspora as well as with India , IGNCA Diaspora program is planning to hold a series of Cultural Programs both in India as well as abroad . During the IGNCA DIASPORA CULTURAL EVENTS , UTSA- ORIGINS : CREATIVE TRACKS OF INDIAN DIASPORA JANAURY 2007, we have a number of artists from India and abroad presented their cultural art works.

1. DIASPORA FILM FESTIVAL
Film screenings on Indian Diaspora was the best successful part of the recently concluded cultural events of IGNCA. Every month IGNCA will be able to present a film maker from Diaspora in conjunction with and Indian film maker . We welcome professional collaboration with individuals and organisations to organize of Film festivals on Diaspora.

2. DIASPORA CREATIVE ART WORKSHOPS AND EXHIBITIONS
There are a number of contemporary Indian artist who have successfully demonstrated their artistic skills across the world. The artists who have been born to descendents of those Indians who have migrated in the past and the artists who have recently migrated from Indian form Diaspora Artists.
We are planning to hold a series of art workshops and exhibitions on contemporary art in association with other Museums and Galleries in India and abroad. We welcome collaboration of art curators, artists, art managers and collectors to organise Art workshops and exhibitions Exhibition could be solo show or group show of any form of art works and art performances.
Discuss with us for matters such as insurance and transportation of art works, hospitality for artist, making of promotional material and publicity and sponsorship opportunities. Email:

3. DIASPORA DANCE AND MUSIC FESTIVAL
We welcome performances by Musicians and Dancers from Diaspora.

4. DIASPORA LITERARY MEETS
Literature is the one area where the Indian Diaspora has made their imprints so effectively. There are a number of writers in European and Indian languages who have already made their name known to the world. We welcome writers of any genre from Indian and Diaspora to present their works.
5. DIAPSORA CUISINE FESTIVAL
The Indian Diaspora carried Indian food culture to wherever they have migrated and placed as an important part of the culture of the adopted lands. The food culture took various changes during its travel and transformed into unique dishes. We welcome participants to organise IGNCA Diaspora Cuisine festival
6. DIASPORA THEATER FESTIVAL
There are a number of theater groups all over the world performing plays based on Indian Diaspora themes . We welcome individual artists/ troupes and groups to perform at IGNCA
7. DIASPORA SEMINARS / CONFERENCES AND DEMONSTRATIONS
We propose to organise seminars conferences on various aspects on Diaspora on a regular basis. We propose following general themes for seminars. We welcome collaboration with individuals and institutions for organising seminars and conferences at IGNCA.
