Report on Kalakosa Foundation Day Celebration : Varanasi Branch
The Foundation day of Kalakosa was celebrated this year by the Kalakosa Division, Varanasi Branch office on 9th July 1998, the auspicious day of Gurupurnima or Vyasa purnima.
The ceremony started with mangalacharana by Sukumar Chattopadhyay and N.C. Panda. The Chief Guest and the speakers received a warm welcome by R.C. Sharma, who later lighted the lamp and garlanded the pictures of Goddess Sarasvati, Late Smt. Indira Gandhi and also our revered guide Late Dr. R.S. Bhattacharya. Guru Vandana was recited by Urmila Sharma followed by a brief report of the Branch office by Sukumar Chattopadhyay. The two lectures on Tantra Mein Guru Ki Mahima by H.N. Chakravarty and kalaon ke Sastriya Vivechan Mein Kalatatvakosh Ka Yogdan by Prem Lata Sharma, both delivered in Hindi held the interest of eminent scholars and staff members.
